I can’t stop the boho fab trend. I guess my love affair with the revival of the 70’s looks began way back in high school when I lived at the local thrift shops and loved to make my own clothes. Now those sewing days are far behind me, but luckily the trend has not only continued, but thrived. Designers have fully embraced it by creating the most lustworthy long dresses, fun high waisted jeans, fantastic platform suede heels and of course, my favorite, the long sleeved mini dress with just the right swing.
I found this chic little cream mini dress by For Love and Lemons on revolveclothing.com (you soon will see it’s my go-to website for all things fab) and had to have it. The eyelet lace detailing is everything and the fit is easy, with just the right swing (like I mentioned above).
One of my favorite accessories that I paired with this look with is my Gucci tan Soho crossbody. It has this simple square shape and is adorned with a fun little tassle. It’s the perfect size to use day to night. I also threw one of my other favorite boho trends, the gladiator sandal. These gold ones, by Michael Kors, are super comfy and so fun to wear with dresses, skirts and cutoffs in the warmer temps. Don’t they just make you dream of vacay?
Before heading out I grabbed my big floppy hat from Anthropologie and some fun round sunglasses from Urban Outfitters (they are only $18!!) and was set for the day. I just love the ease and simplicity of the boho trend and am so glad it’s stuck around as long as it has.
