One of my favorite shoe trends for Spring & Summer is definitely the espadrille wedge. I have been wearing my Chloe version nonstop since I scooped them up at Bloomies in San Fran. They are honestly the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. It’s like walking on clouds! That’s what makes this trend so fab, it’s just so wearable.
All the designers have their own take on the trend and below are my top 12 picks.
Nothing epitomizes Spring more than a fresh, colorful floral. Always on trend (think about it, they really are) and so easy to wear. Whether you choose a fun bright one, like I chose in this outfit, or a darker one, it’s a fab mix up from the daily monochromatic look.
I love love pairing a matching top and skirt. I saw this gorgeously printed Rebecca Taylor duo and knew it would be such a fun look. The long sleeve top is super comfy and will be so cute paired with jeans or shorts as well. And the skirt is my everything. Elastic waist band and the sassiest swingy bottom.
To break up the mass floral frenzy, I layered on my all time favorite House of Harlow necklaces. I love pairing the mini locket and the large one. Such basic pieces that I find myself wearing nonstop. I also threw on my essential Shashi necklace.
Since the top and skirt are so soft, I decided to edge up the look with my new lace Joie heels. How fab are these? I love the cognac color and the braided suede. For my bag, I had to go with my Alexander McQueen clutch (color no longer available but similar) as it matches the shoes perfectly. I have had this bag forever and I feel like it only gets better with age.
I layered on some Gorjana (love her!) rings and my pink lensed Illesteva glasses to top off the look. I will for sure be living in this look and similar ones all Spring and Summer. Nothing better than an outfit that is super easy and comfy, but still chic and finished.

I get so excited every year when Pantone releases it’s colors of the season. This year, I of course love rose quartz, but I also am obsessed with snorkel blue. The rich blue tone just epitomizes warm, sunny days.
I am always and forever about the easy daytime romper (minus the whole going to the bathroom thing…). There is nothing better than throwing on one piece and being set to go, right? I love that rompers can be casual for day and then easily dressy for night with a quick accessory/shoe change.
So back to snorkel blue. The minute I saw this fresh Tularosa romper I had to have it. The mix of bright white and electric blue is always chic. I adore the throwback vintage style and fit. The tie front is also a huge Spring trend and just so fun. Doesn’t it just exemplify seaside luxe?
How could I not pair this look with my perfectly snorkel blue Celine? I treasure this bag. Everytime I use it I feel so alive (dramatic I know, but really I do!)
When doing a romper daytime I always go with a simple flat or fun wedge (no heels or sneakers please). This keeps it casual, but fun. Let’s just discuss my Chloe wedges for a minute, because I am full on obsessed.com. I basically took out another girl at Bloomingdales to get them. Pure comfort, the softest suede and gorgeous craftmanship (have I sold you yet? I promise I am not getting paid to, I just love love them). I am going to do a whole post on my favorite espadrille wedges later this week, so stay tuned.
I also added a fun cuff from House of Harlow 1960 (that has a fab turquoise stone and it’s on sale for $40), my simple zig zag necklace from Shashi and these end all Lizzie Fortunato earrings that I snagged from Neiman’s. Pretty simple accessories since the romper has enough personality on it’s own.

Oh, the boyfriend jean. They are everywhere, right? For so long I fully boycotted this style, as I just do not find it flattering. That being said, recently designers have begun to sway me with much more tailored, fitted styles. I forced myself to try a couple of pairs after seeing other girls in them and thinking they actually looked super cute.
I found these by Lovers & Friends (on sale for $81!) on revolveclothing.com (surprise, surprise, right?). I love that they are super tapered at the bottom (which lets you show some ankle aka femininity). I am all about distressing lately (the more the better really), so I loved that these had that going on too.
My #1 with this style is you have to pair them with heels. I feel like that is the only way to get have a super feminine edge. There is nothing more girly than a fab leopard print, so I went with my fave Louboutin calf hair pumps.
My #2 with these baggy friends is that you need to wear them with a soft top. I went with a simple, but frilly, off the shoulder top. This one, from Show Me Your Mumu, is perfect with the uber girlish ruffle detailing. This style is no longer available, but similar styles here and here.
To keep it fun, I grabbed my studded out crossbody from Valentino. How about this mandarian orange color? I absolutely love mixing a fun bright color with leopard. It’s just so fun + chic.
To finish off this look I went with my all time (literally 6 years old) House of Harlow cuff. It’s super sturdy and has lived through so many fun nights out. I highly suggest scooping one up as it really goes with everything. (Who would ever think Nicole Richie’s jewelry line would be so fab by the way?)
All in all, I support this newer skinnier version of the boyfriend jean. Not something I will be wearing on the daily (waaay too many cute dresses and rompers for that!), but I do think it’s a fun look to mix in your rotation.
I am all about the return of feminine charm lately in fashion. I love that I am seeing elegant details mixed with fun modern touches. Lace is one of the big trends for Spring ’16 and it is the epitome of ladylike. I love lace detailing in all colors, but my ultimate is definitely a crisp, clean white. One of my favorite designers for this trend is Self Portrait. Han Chong, the genius behind the label, has succeeded in mixing delicate intricacy with edgy street style.
I couldn’t say no to this guipure lace peplum dress. The scalloped embroidery, the stand collar and the edgy feel all make this creation a piece of art. Mix all that with the sheer bodice and it’s just perfection.
I kept with the girly feel by adding my favorite bright pink Manolo Blahnik heels (have you noticed I love this simple, classic style?) and my pale pink Celine crossbody. I am so excited that pastels are huge for Spring, as this bag is forever one of my favorite pieces. Simple accessories are a must when you are wearing a super detailed piece.
A bright lip is always a must in my book. It instantly gives you life! I am obsessed with this long wear Stila version in “fiore”. It stays on forever and is the best pink.
Is there really anything better than the feeling of wearing gorgeous dress? I am firm believer that your clothes shape your mood and attitude and this ensemble definitely made me feel beyond feminine and fab.
