Friends! Happiest Friday! I was so busy earlier this week that this is my first (and solo) post! The wedding I am working on is getting closer and it’s tre hectic!

Today I am getting all starry eyed in this most fabulous grey + black dress from Lovers & Friends (on sale for $117!) We already know I have thing for stars (if you follow me on instagram, that white romper from last weekend was also star embellished), so I clearly needed this darker version to take me through Fall. How fun will this be with a leather jacket and black over the knee boots?!

I paired it with this simple wrap belt (to give me more of a waist and just to accessorize). And the most fun wine-red studded Valentino cross body. This little guy is so lightweight and easy! For shoes I kept it super simple with these Steve Madden stiletto heels (that are a total knock off of my old Stuart Weitzman nudist ones…and I am SO ok with that and actually got them in nude too because I am obsessed!) If you need a simple heel, I highly suggest these. For sunnies, I went with these Givenchy silver mirrored lovers. You can’t see from these pics, but they are also studded along the top rim (so fun!)

I have been seeing star adorned everything everywhere lately and I am loving it! It’s a fun way to do a print in a mellow way. Here are some more pieces I have had my eye on (including my white romper in case you missed it on insta)

I hope you all have a fab weekend! We are headed up to LA to see my sister (she lives there) and parents (who are in town for a quick trip). It’s my dad’s birthday so we will be celebrating (with Sprinkles cookies + ice cream- his fave!) I will try to do some insta stories, but I am so bad and always forget! Happy shopping loves!

Hi guys! Happiest Friday! We were out late last night celebrating the birthday of one of my college favorites, so I am super tardy on this post! It was such a fun night out, but I am not going to lie, I am hurting today (what happened to the days of being able to drink and wake up feeling totally fine the next day?)

Today’s post is all about this amazing little leopard skirt I found from Topshop (I know, I have a Topshop problem!) Leopard is one of those trends that never goes away and is forever one of my faves. The mix of neutral tones and black is just so chic! I plan to wear this fun friend through fall with over the knee boots or tights & booties. For this look I wanted to keep it super girly, so I paired it with a ruffled one shoulder top from Theory.

My mini (literally the tiniest bag ever. I can barely fit my phone in it, but I am so ok with it because it is so cute) Saint Laurent “blogger bag” matched the skirt perfectly, so it was an obvious choice. These oversized Karen Walkers seemed most appropriate with this girly look as the gold mirrored lenses were fun with the neutral tones of the skirt.

For shoes, these platform Raye the Label heels just seemed to complete the Summery, fun feel (similar less high of a heel style here). I have had some emails about my nail color, which is “marshmallow” by Essie. I wear this color nonstop in the Summer because it’s such an easy neutral.

Sidenote: big shout out to my photographer (Joey of Half Full Photography) for these perfectly SoCal pictures. He is so beyond talented and has literally paved the way for me to best show off my looks (I hit 10k on Instagram last week, so crazy!) Love him and so grateful for his energy, kindness and insane expertise.

Here are some more fun leopard print pieces and a couple of one shouldered tops that I have on my list!

We have a jammed pack weekend ahead that includes a double dinner date at Mastros Ocean Club tomorrow night. One of our favorite places to indulge, I cannot wait for their tomato mozzarella salad and insane shrimp cocktail (and of course some super yummy dessert). Hope you all have a fab weekend!

Hi friends! Happy Tuesday! Another crazy week for me, how about you guys? We had the most relaxing weekend though, so I am feeling super charged and ready to take it all on.

Today is all about my current love for all things blush and olive green. I cannot stop this pairing. In general, this season, I have such a newfound love for both colors. I normally shy away from light pinks as I think they kind of clash with my hair, but for some reason lately I have been into them. And olive green (army green) is all the rage right now, so it makes sense I am feeling it!

I found this perfectly light pink bomber and these fun tie waist shorts both at Topshop. Anyone else having a major Topshop moment lately? They have been killing it! This bomber is perforated, making it super sporty and fun. I plan to wear it into Fall with all my high waisted denim- it’s just so fun! And these shorts (on sale for $29.99!!), fit so comfy and are just the best switch up from nonstop everyday jean shorts (but do be aware, Topshop runs small, so it’s always a good idea to size up!)

I went with the most simple $14 brown suede choker and this $12 cami from BP. Can’t beat those prices, right? I have to admit that through this whole addition to my life, I have become so much more into finding great deals. I just want to wear and share things that everyone can! It’s not my usual style of shopping, but I have enjoyed it as it has made me realize there is always a cheaper option!

IMG_7742For shoes, I went with these lace up suede heels from Dolce Vita. I have these in black and literally wear them nonstop. They are SO comfy (for real!). And for sunnies, I went neutral with these new Le Specs. Aren’t they fun? I just love this brand!

Back to my blush & olive green obsession. Here are some more pieces similar to the ones in this look and that I have been eyeing.

I hope you guys have a great week! I have a couple of wedding planning meetings, a birthday dinner for one of my college faves and I am shooting a bunch of looks. So basically I will be nonstop (which I secretly love and thrive off of)!

Happy Shopping!

IMG_7641Hi guys! Happy Friday and woohoo for the weekend! This week flew by, right? We are half way through August, just like that!

Today is all about that easy denim on denim. It’s been on trend forever and I feel like it’s kinda going to always be a fun combo since it’s so simple, but looks so good (when done right. There are of course a million examples of this I could show you that are just wrong, but we won’t get into that) It’s all about mixing complementary washes to get that right look. You definitely don’t want to be too matchy matchy, you need some contrast.

I started with this insanely comfy and super distressed mini from Lovers & Friends (such a flash back to the early 2000’s when jean skirts were all the rage, right?) I have found myself throwing this on all Summer with simple tees and fun bodysuits. For this look, I paired it with a star adorned button down from Rails. I just love how light of a chambray it is! If you haven’t tried Rails yet, I am here to tell you they are worth every penny. Super soft, you can wash them again and again and they are still just as fab. These two work together because the wash of the skirt is darker and the white rips match perfectly with the lighter color of the top.

On to my shoes. Let’s just take a moment for these because, HOW CUTE? I found these at Nordy’s by my house and was dead over them immediately. The light grey and studding are everything!! Conveniently, they match my little Chloe “marcie” perfectly!

So I know we have all been scarfachief (haha like that?) obsessed, but I have been all about a handkerchief as a headband too. I know, so random, but it’s so fun! This one I am wearing is sold as a handkerchief, but to me it’s all headband. For sunnies, I went with these super round and mirrored ones from Miu Miu. I feel so retro in these! They are a fun snow leopard print on the rim, which I love.

You just can’t beat an easy denim skirt for all things warm temps. And with Summer coming to an end, this look will be so fun going into Fall with booties! Here are a few more of my favorite denim minis:

I hope you all have the most fabulous weekend! Ours is kinda mellow, which I am so happy about. The next couple of weekends ahead are going to be nonstop, so I am planning on fully absorbing the low-keyness. Thanks for reading and happy shopping!

IMG_7522Happy Tuesday, friends! I hope you all had a great weekend and survived all things Monday. My week has started off with a bang (if you did not know, I am also a wedding planner) as one of the weddings I am working on is inching near and things are getting busy!

Today is all about my lace up bodysuit obsession. Literally, I cannot stop them! So easy to wear as they are a one and done situation, which I love. I am also all about the lace up trend and that’s why I had to have this Stone Cold Fox little number the minute I saw it at Planet Blue (we finally got one in OC, so exciting!) Unfortunately this one is almost sold out everywhere, but I actually also have this one and it’s seriously just as fab (and on sale!) Such a fun piece to wear with shorts like I have here or with denim for a night out (really my favorite way to wear it). You can totally take this piece through Fall by just throwing on a leather jacket or fun bomber.

I love the line Line & Dot (they made the two piece all white look I did a couple months back), so when I saw these fun tie waist shorts from them, I knew they would fit cute. Kinda higher waisted and perfect for day to night. You could so wear these with a cute crop top or simple tank for day with a flat sandal.

To spice up the look, I added my striped Valentino (so fun, right? I linked a fun Tory Burch for Fall that is also fabulously striped), my oversized Karen Walkers and kept it simple with these Raye heels.

If you don’t feel comfortable wearing a bodysuit solo, you can easily add on an oversized jean jacket (I am obsessed with this one)! Also, pairing them with higher waisted bottoms is definitely a must (it’s slimming and keeps you from looking like you are wearing a swimsuit).

Here are some other ones I have been eyeing:

I hope you all have a fab day and week! I have a girls night with some of my most faves at Greenleaf tonight and I cannot wait. I haven’t really gotten on the whole Insta stories thing yet, but I am on snapchat, so follow along (my name is currentlycaro).
