PLAID PARTY

Hiiii guys!! Long time no blog! I decided to fully be in the moment and take the week off from blogging while in Mexico last week. It was definitely a relaxing getaway, but I am way too much of a go-getter and was so ready to get home! And now it’s Thanksgiving week and I could not be more excited to see my fam! They get here today and we are off to take family photos…wish us luck!

Today is all about this absolutely fab plaid skirt from Milly. How fun are these colors? I love the fuzzy texture and the cream background. It’s such a fun option for all the holiday soirees ahead (a simple addition of black opaque tights or over the knee boots would make it colder temp friendly). I paired it with this simple cross over top from Lovers and Friends (similar here). Such an easy top to throw on with denim too! Since the temps have (finally!!) gotten cooler, I went with this super fun, super cozy, furry jacket from BB Dakota. This $130 find is my current obsession!! It’s such a fab option for dressy looks and also is so fun with a lace cami + denim.

For shoes, I was feeling fun and went with these studded booties from Joie. I died over these when I saw them online and then had to have them when I spotted them at Nordy’s. They are just such a fun switch up from the everyday plain black, right? They look really cute with black tights and leggings too. Since this is a more dressed up look, I went with this studded clutch from Rebecca Minkoff. I know I have this in a ton of colors, but really it is the most easy and essential option for a night out!

I hope you are all having such a great week so far! And yay for the holiday tomorrow! I love love Thanksgiving as I think it’s such a great time to reflect on all that we have and be reminded of all there is to be grateful for. My fam is pretty laid back and super untraditional with our meal as we don’t even eat turkey! None of us really like it, so we will be feasting on salmon instead! Hope you all enjoy your day and get in some nice R + R. I am thankful for all of you for reading my blog and forever giving me motivation and inspiration to do more. Cheers to that and happy shopping!

Here are my two looks from last week with links below since I didn’t blog about them!
