Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! How are you guys? I am having a fab week so far, just really busy trying to squeeze in a ton of looks with an upcoming trip to Mexico followed quickly by Thanksgiving. We are of course having another heat wave over here, which is all fab until you are trying to create and take pics of Wintery outfits!!

Today I am talking all the layers and all the grey. I am huge lover of anything grey and love creating monochromatic looks with various tones. I found this super duper cozy sweater from Topshop at Nordstrom and it spurred my fashion self to make a whole look out of it. This $80 creation is so wearable and fab! I have found myself throwing it on at night with leggings to watch TV and hang…just so comfy!

Now on to this great suede moto from Blank NYC. How lush is this color? I found this at Nordys too (for some reason this color is not showing up online, but I can promise you it’s available in store) and just adore the easy fit and zipper detailing. It comes in so many fab colors- the olive green and burgundy are on my lust list!

To keep with the grey tones, I went with this super cute and also so wearable grey denim skirt from A Gold E. I LOVE this brand. It just fits so well! I know in other places it may not be warm enough for a denim mini, so this look would be just as fun with a similar toned skinny denim too! I added on my flat otk boots from Stuart Weitzman. This boot is a dream to busy around in and so easy to wear with so much. I love the rich dark grey as it goes really well over denim and leggings. If you are on the hunt for a great otk flat boot option, I highly suggest these (I have them in olive green too and wore them to death last year!)

For bag, my small sac de jour from Saint Laurent was an obvious must as the light grey went perfectly. For sunnies, I went with these from Illesteva. Going monochromatic is always chic, but to me the all black way is always just too boring. I love that when doing it with grey, you can mix and match various tones to in the end get a look with so much personality!

Here are some more fab grey sweaters I am loving:

Hope you all have a great day today! I will be running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get my looks done and also trying to pack for a week in Mexico….eep!! Happy shopping! xo, Caro

Happy Thursday, friends! What a fab week it’s been! We have had some cooler weather here and it’s been uber refreshing to wear a couple of cozy sweaters! Last night I attended a fun blogger event in LA and got to sneak in a quick dinner with my sister (she lives there) after. Nothing better than a little mid week sis time!

Today it’s all about my current love for the oversized, longer blazer. I found this fun blush pink one from Topshop and just adore that it’s almost like a coat, but so much more lightweight and wearable. The slouchy fit is so fun and you could actually totally wear this as a mini dress with otk boots! To keep it girly, I paired it with this super feminine lace cami from Capulet. So so into all things lace camis and jeans lately! Such a fun look for a night out.

Let’s discuss these 3×1 jeans real quick…they are AMAZING!! These are my first pair from this brand and I am obsessed. They fit like a gem and are seriously so comfy. They are definitely a bit pricer, but trust me, it’s because they are really well made, don’t stretch out and don’t lose shape/color after being washed.

To keep it fun, I went with this red Valentino crossbody. I love pink + red together always and felt like it really kicked this look up a notch! To pull in the silver from the bag, I chose these mega fab Jimmy Choos. I got these last year, but they made them again this season! They are so fun, right? I love a party for my feet and these definitely are! (here is a cute pair from Steve Madden that are super similar) To finish it all off, these black and silver mirrored lensed Illesteva’s were the perfect cake topper.

Back to my obsession with oversized blazers. I just love easy layers and they are such a great switch up from the norm. You could also pair one with a simple vneck tee and jeans, over a slip dress, over a tank and skirt….here are some more I am eyeing as well as a couple of dusters as I am kinda obsessing over them too right now!

Real quick, in case you missed my instagram post of this insanely fab leather jacket, I am sharing it here too. It’s by Blank NYC and it’s only $98!! I never in my life would think I would find and approve of such a well priced leather jacket. I say this only because I am lucky enough to have some super luxe ones, so my standards are high. You want your leather jacket to be plush, comfy and just to feel good and this one does! K, I am blabbing, but seriously if you need a black leather throw on, get this one! And here is my fun Rebecca Minkoff clutch too.

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend! We have a yummy date night planned tomorrow, a triple date night with friends on Saturday and on Sunday a birthday party for the daughter of one of my college besties. Busy, busy just the way I like it! Btw, no thanks on changing our clocks!! Ugh!! Happy shopping and happy happy weekending! xo, Caro
