Happy Happy Friday, friends! What a whirlwind this week was! Sorry for the lack of posts, the holidays are here and it’s been wild! I had events three nights this week and am shooting some looks in a couple of days, so I have just been running around. Don’t you feel like every year everyone makes a big deal over getting ready for Christmas before Thanksgiving? So then we all wait till after, but there is like no time to get it all done, right?! Eep!

Today it’s all about my current love for the high neck blouse. I feel like all the fun new tops right now have this victorian-ish cut and I am loving it! So super feminine and girly. This one, by one of my all time faves Rebecca Taylor, caught my eye with it’s subtle sparkle and great mix of colors. I love navy, it’s such a nice switch up from the everyday black. This top is magic alone, but I had to pair it with this eggplant Iro leather jacket because it so perfectly matched some of the color detailing.

For jeans, it was these from Grlfrnd (the “naomi”) again because I can’t stop these (they come in petite too here)! I gave them a little roll this time to show off my shoes and I have to be honest, I so wish I hadn’t! Do you ever do that with look? I swear when I was planning this outfit it looked so cute, but then when I got the images I was so not into it. So point is, if you get these, no need to roll! Haha, I am rambling!

For shoes, I was feeling feisty, so I went with these oldie but goodies from Steve Madden (super similar here). I am so not over this fab style, especially in this fun silver! For bag I kept it simple and neutral with this light pink Valentino crossbody. For sunnies, I went with my oldest, first pair of Illestevas. These are a forever love!

The high neck trend is just a fun way to dress up your everyday look! I have a couple of lace tops with this neck and I love that it gives them a more modest feel (like this one from a couple of looks ago!) Here are some more I am loving:

Wishing you all the best weekend! It’s holiday madness for us and I couldn’t be more happy! Be sure to check out my gift guide as I am constantly adding new ideas! Happy shopping!

Hi guys! Happy FRIDAY!! This absolutely flew by for me, how about you guys? And this weekend is packed for us with nonstop holiday fun!

one-shoulder-sweater-2

Today I am sharing this absolutely fun one shoulder sweater from LPA. The perfect mix of cozy and flirty! I love the super neutral color and easy fit. Obviously off the shoulder was the biggest trend of 2016, but I will always have a bit of love for the one shoulder! I paired this fabness with my newest denim obsession, the “naomi” from GRLFRND. This brand is created by a team from Revolve (meaning I clearly would be obsessed) and only sold at a few retailers right now. The mini denim skirt I wore with the black lace top a couple of posts back was by them too! I just love the distressing and the super tight fit at the waist and bagger straight leg. I like to think of them as the modern mom jean! Now I know they are a bit pricey ($248), but I have worn these probably 7 times since getting them a couple of weeks ago and plan to wear them more, so I feel like that justifies the price!

To keep it simple, I went with these stiletto heels from Giavinitto Rossi (similar more wallet friendly version here). I love a good simple heel lately! For bag, I needed a bit of color, so my Celine blood orange nano was the perfect pop! I am always a fan of combing tan and red tones.

I accessorized a little with my Gucci belt (as always) to give the look some personality and life.  For sunnies, these gold Le Spec sunnies matched the sweater perfectly so I had to throw them on!

I always have a hard time wearing jeans as I just feel so casual (hence why you see me in dresses 80% of the time!) I am true girly girl, but I also do love the comfort (and warmth) of a great pair of jeans. I promise you will love these if you invest in them (this is 100% not a sponsored post, just being my normal passionate self!) With that, here are some other fun distressed jeans that are more wallet friendly:

Hope you all have a fab weekend! The holidays are in full force, right? Make sure to check my holiday gift guide if you haven’t! I will be updating it weekly. Happy shopping! xo, Caro

Hi guys! Happy first day in December!! With the holidays upon us, I thought I would share all my favorite LBD’s since it’s soiree season! There are so many fab ones out right now, so here are all the ones I am loving (if you hover over the image it will show the price)

So much good, right? I want them all! I know I am usually all about color, but for some reason when it comes to holiday parties, I love a simple LBD. Happy shopping friends!
