Happy Friday, friends! We made it to the weekend! Woohoo! I must say after last weekends whirlwind, I have just been trying to get back in the swing of things this week! The weather has been all over the place, only confusing me more. I know it’s just February, but I have to admit I am so ready for some non-rainy, warm and sunny days!

Today is all about this most fun red and ruffled mini from BCBG. How totally fab is this dress? The epitome of feminine, I am in love with the uber girly vibes. Obviously with Valentine’s Day being on Tuesday, I had to have it and cannot wait to wear it on our date night. To some, it may be a bit dressy, but to me, I view any night out (even just to dinner) as an excuse to get dressed up! Life is so too short not to! You can wear jeans everyday, but wearing a dress and some fun heels is always so much more fun.

Just to kick up the Valentine’s day feels, I paired this look with my pink Gucci marmont. I always LOVE this color combo! It’s just so unexpectedly fabulous and totally romantic. Because the dress has so much personality and flair, I kept it simple with these gold Manolo heels (from last season, so here and here are cute similar options) and these fun mirrored Le Spec sunnies.

The LBD is always an essential, but nothing beats the pizazz of a LRD. If wearing this for Valentine’s day is a bit much for you, it would also be a really cute option for any wedding or soiree. Red is such a strong color and one that is always in style. Earlier this week I shared these other fun red dresses below and here they are again in case you missed the post.

Wishing you all the happiest weekend! I am looking forward to our super quiet weekend of simple date nights and hanging out. On Sunday, we are starting the Valentine’s day celebration early by getting pedi’s at the spa at Monarch Beach (such a nice spa if you are local and haven’t been), which I am super excited about! Cheers and enjoy yours!

(earrings are Irene Neuwirth, but here is a cute similar find, nailpolish, circle ring, lip color (by the way, this is my go-to lippie…totally fabulous as it stays on super well!))

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday! I am feeling much better today after spending yesterday kinda recovering from a totally huge weekend! We had the best time in San Fran and then came home in time to celebrate Super Bowl with friends and I may have celebrated a bit too much!!

Today is all about my obsession with any and all black lace tops. Lace is a forever trend and one that I am always embracing as it’s chic and oh-so-feminine. I fell in┬álove love with this $70 creation from the Line and Dot as it’s everything I just described. It is completely sheer, but luckily has a satin cami built in on the front. It’s definitely a bit risque, but I think that’s why I love it as it’s so flirty! The most perfect top for a night out.

For this look I paired it with my fave super skinnies from Paige. I told you guys I loved this pair of jeans! They just fit perfectly and are the most fab┬ádark blue. I added on my studded Gucci belt to give the look some life (it’s sadly sold out, but here it is plain and here it is with pearl detailing (the one from my look on instagram today!)) Just to make the look even more fun, I chose these leopard pumps from Aquazzura. These are the most comfy shoes ever! I wore them out in San Fran and we were out dancing till late and I swear my feet didn’t hurt one bit (here is a cute pair that is less spendy). Just as with lace, I am a firm believer that leopard is a forever trend that adds spice to any look.

For my bag, I went super mellow with this Saint Laurent black mini as I felt like the lace top + leopard heels were already pretty loud. I love this little crossbody as it’s really plain and just super simple.

Like I mentioned earlier, lace is always in style and it’s such an easy trend to take on. This top and any black lace top paired with a skirt or with denim is such a fun, flirty look for a night out. If you saw my post on instagram today, you know I wore this same top out with a pink velvet skirt on Friday! It’s so versatile and just a really easy piece for your closet.

Here are some other super cute options:

I hope you guys have a fab day today! I am spending this week trying to get organized after what seems like a busy busy couple of weeks. I am the worst at keeping my closet clean, so I am really trying to work on some methods to be better about that!

Happy shopping! xo, Caro

Hi guys! Happiest Monday! With Valentine’s day only a week (and a day) away I thought I would share some of the red dresses I am eyeing. I will be doing a more extensive Valentine’s day post later this week, but in the mean time here are a bunch of super cute options for any galentines or date night (or let’s get real, red dresses are a year round fun option for any soiree/party/wedding etc!)

Hope you all had a fab weekend (our trip to SF was sooo fun! We had the best time date nighting with one of our college friends and his boyfriend and exploring the city) and have a happy (and quick!) Monday!
