Hi guys! Happy Friday! And happy Spring-ing forward weekend! I always dread when we turn our clocks back, so I am so excited it’s time to jump ahead and have our longer nights back. Our weather has been a dream this week, making me so ready for all the fun that Spring and Summer bring.

Today I am talking about transitional dressing. When the weather is so back and forth (as it’s definitely been here) it can be so annoying deciding what to wear in the morning, right? This look is one of my easy go-to’s as it keeps me warm, but also has me appropriate for the season. The key to any transitional look is a simple lightweight layers. This Iro tweed jacket is such a fab option for that. I love that it’s white as it makes it that much more Spring friendly and it’s perfectly not too heavy.

To make this look even more on season, I paired it with this fab lace trimmed cami from the Kooples (here it is in plain black and here in a slightly different version). I love the dark floral but that it also has a feminine feel. If the weather has been like it has been these past couple of days, I could so rock this look just with the cami and be good to go!

For denim, I am all about a higher waisted and cropped style lately and I have been living in these from AGoldE. They are super comfy and they look cute with a simple pair of sneaks for daytime. For this look I wanted to dress it up a bit, so I went with these new beauties from Gucci. Eeeep, how fun are these? The blocked heel is all the rage for Spring and I have to be honest, it’s not my ultimate fave, but it is so wearable.

Whenever I do denim looks I love to girly it up a bit, which is why I had to go with these pearl adorned sunnies from Freda Banana. Still not over these!! I also added on these gold hoops from Gorjana. I got my sister a pair of these for her birthday as I am obsessed!! Statement earrings are huge for Spring, but I am not really one for all the tassels or big ball ones, but I do love an oversized hoop like these. So fun!

My key to getting through these unpredictable weather months is starting with a base that is wearable alone and then adding on a simple optional layer. Here are some more blazers + jackets that are fun layering pieces

I hope you all have the best weekend! My husband has been gone all week and gets home this morning and I could not be more excited to see him! We have a birthday party for one of my college faves tonight in Laguna that starts early so we can watch the sunset, which should be so fun. And tomorrow night we are keeping it simple with a much needed catch up date night. Also, today is my dog Griffin’s 13th birthday! After a gazillon trips to the vet, he has been doing better. Thank you all for all your messages and advice, it honestly meant the world to me and also really helped! We have been taking him in for this laser therapy and it seems to really be alleviating his arthritis pain. We plan to spoil him all weekend long for sure!

Cheers, happy shopping and happiest weekend, xo, Caro

all the elements of my look:

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday! How are you all today? I am fab as I had the best weekend and it’s finally warming up here in SoCal! I went to Phoenix, AZ to celebrate my sister on Saturday for the night and we had the best time! My parents flew in from Charlotte and we went to a fun dinner at Mastro’s Ocean Club (yum!) and stayed at the Phoencian in Scottsdale (such a fab hotel if you ever need a place to stay there!) I have looked up to my sister my whole life and just love her to the moon, so it was so nice ot get to spoil her with love!

Today is all about Springy feels and my love for feminine florals, specifically this most fab blouse from Ella Moss! I actually got this last year, but since I wear it all the time, I figured it needed some blog love (since it is older it’s way on sale which is fab!!) I love sharing pieces that are faves of mine, especially ones like this as it’s just so wearable. The mix of blush tones, oranges and yellows makes it so pretty and so fun for day or night. To me, Spring is always about embracing super romantic, girly colors, all of which this blouse does.

I paired it with this higher waisted light wash denim from AGoldE. I love the distressing and super skinny fit of these! I gave them a slight roll at the hem so I could wear these most fave wedges from Chloe. Mine are from last year, but I actually like this years new scalloped detailing better! I know these wedges are everywhere ( here and here are great lower priced options that look nearly identical), but honestly they are so comfy and such a great option for Spring & Summer!

For bag, I felt like it would be so fun to keep it in the same color group, so I went with this blush pink Saint Laurent. Sticking with that trend, I also added on this fab (super wearable, most amazing, one of my faves) leather jacket from Iro. I just made my sister get this jacket as I wear it nonstop! It’s so neutral and such a fab tone to transition into and through Spring with!

I know floral blouses are not a new trend or anything groundbreaking, but I do always find them to be a fun option to pair with denim (this with my essential Grlfrnd denim skirt or shorts would also be SO cute) and to give your look a little splash of fun. Here are some others I am eyeing:

I hope you all have a most fab day today! Happy shopping!
