COLORFUL STRIPED RUFFLE DRESS (AND LAST MINUTE LABOR DAY OPTIONS)

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday! How are you all? I am coming to life again after having the world’s worst cold last week. I was in total denial about it, I kept telling Colby it was for sure “just allergies“. Haha, it was definitely a full blown cold and it definitely took over my life last week. Who gets sick in the Summer? It was SO lame!

Today is all about this super fun Parker dress that I am totally obsessed with! The fit is just beyond feminine and cute, right? I love the ruffle detailing and of course the tie waist. To me, it just screams Labor Day (I cannot believe it’s this weekend! I love September and October, so I am so excited that we are just days away from one of the best times of the year)! With the holiday just days away, I did some searching and found some great last minute options that I will share at the end of this post.

Back to this look! Since this dress is just so full of life and personality, I kept it pretty minimal with my accessories. I am all for any of shade of pink lately, so I zeroed in on that and went with these fab pink Stuart Weitzman heels (on sale!) and this simple Valentino rockstud crossbody. If you wanted to dress this down for a simple BBQ or get together with friends, you could totally go with a tan flat and tan crossbody.

Here are all the aspects of this look!

I hope you all have a good day! Happy shopping!

WHITE LACE TOP & BOYFRIEND DENIM (MY FOREVER GO-TO!)

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday! Did you catch the eclipse yesterday? I think I might be the only human who wasn’t that into it! We had the busiest (but best!) weekend, so I was just catching up on things and totally missed it…oops!

Today is all about my forever go-to, a simple lace top and boyfriend denim. I love love this combo because the lace is super feminine and the denim is clearly the opposite, very masculine. This top, from Zimmerman, is literally my end all be all fave of all time (does that even make sense? Haha, I just mean that I adore it!!) I have being wearing it all Summer with jean shorts and know I will continue to wear it into Fall underneath a suede moto. It’s a piece that I truly believe I will wear season after season.

I also adore this denim! This is the “Liya” style from Citizens of Humanity and I have it in a few washes. I love this particular pair because it’s distressed to perfection and also has a super fun uneven hemline. So real quick, let’s just discuss the fact that I went from HATING boyfriend jeans to now only wanting to wear them! I still do not think Colby (or any guy for that matter) is that into them, but I think they are so cute and obviously comfy!

To keep the jeans from looking too blah and baggy, I paired them with these most fab Loeffler Randall (my barbie heels!) velvet slides. I can’t stop these and honestly cannot say enough good things about them! Just for fun, I went with my red Celine nano because I am always a fan of this color combo. It’s just so unexpectedly good!!

You really cannot ever go wrong with this girly, but edgy look! Whether you need something to wear to brunch with friends or for casual cocktails, it’s just simple but still so cute.

Here are all the aspects of this look:

Hope you all have a fab Tuesday! I am off to pull together some looks for Thursday!

THE MOST FUN (UNDER $100!) PURPLE OFF THE SHOULDER DRESS

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday! This week is flying by! We had the best (I mean BEST!!) time at our friend Brad’s wedding and it has definitely taken me until today to start to get back into the swing of things. Did you see my fun boomerang on Instagram? The wedding venue was so rustic chic and they had this amazing big swing that we did a little video on. It was the most love filled wedding ever, I still am feeling all the feels over it! The whole wine country area is just gorgeous and so much fun, we didn’t want to leave and are already trying to plan another trip.

Today I am sharing this super cute, super easy and super fun off the shoulder dress from Line & Dot. I adore this little throw on! The shape is relaxed and comfy and it has pockets! I find pieces like this so essential for Summer as you can easily take it from day (with flat sandals) to night (with a great heel). I paired it with these super pretty lilac/soft pink Stuart Weitzman heels (they are on sale now!) I love combining different shades of the same color all in one look, so I continued with that by using my pink Gucci (same color, different style is available here and same style, but lighter pink color is available here) and these cute tiered earrings.

This look is so simple, but at the same time so girly and fun. I do adore putting together full looks that mix and match various pieces, but I also love looks like this one that are literally one and done. This dress is just a fab piece to have in your closet to throw on for any daytime lunch or bbq and then it is just a fab to wear to a fun girls dinner or date night. A very well spent $87!

Here are all the elements of this look:

Well I hope you guys have a great day today! I am doing lots of catching up on emails and some backend things on my blog (aka booooring). We have a chill weekend ahead, which I am excited about, but then we head to the East Coast next week! The month of August is already booked for us and that is just crazy to me! Anyways, happy Wednesday and happy shopping! xo, Caro
