LEATHER SKIRT MANIA

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday! I can’t believe it’s the last week in September! This month totally flew by, right? We were lucky enough to have a taste of Fall last week here in SoCal, but it’s back to the upper 80’s + Summer again, which is such a drag! I am so ready for all things Fall (mainly the fashion!)

Today is all about one of my fave trends for Fall (this year and all years really!), the leather skirt. There are SO many good ones out right now, so I rounded up a few and will share them at the end of this post. I found this particular one from Endless Rose on revolve.com and fell in love with the fun ruffles and the price ($76!). It may not be real leather, but I swear it feels & looks like it is! I have already worn it two times this season (to the Milly show with a polka dotted top and to a party at Fashion Island with a black cami and my pink Topshop blazer) and I know I will continue to throw it on as it’s such an easy, fab piece. It looks really cute with an oversized sweater front tucked as well as with a simple black turtleneck tucked in.

For this look I paired it with a simple white cami and this fun fun Iro leather jacket. How great is this vibrant color? My shoes are these from Loeffler Randall and my sunnies are Ray-bans.

Back to the leather skirt mania that is going on. I love that you can dress them up with a sock bootie or over the knee boots for a night out, but you could also totally throw on a simple tee and some sneakers for a cool daytime look. When temps get really cold, you could do an opaque tight and fun pink coat! The best is that it really is a timeless trend that you can wear season after season.
