Spring Denim And Tees with Bloomingdales

Hey friends! Today I am so excited to share with you guys some of more casual pieces for Spring and Summer from my favorite, Bloomingdales. I have been a Bloomies lover since I was young, as my parents used to take my sister and I to their NYC location during our annual Thanksgiving week trip (we would go nuts as the shopping where we lived was no where near as cool!) The best best place for all things really, but lately I have been going there to scope out the latest and greatest denim and basic tops.

Last week I stopped by their Fashion Island location to find a few new go-to’s for the upcoming season. I instantly fell in love with all of the Joe’s Jeans! I have always like the brand, but I think their newest collection is super on point. I tried on a bunch and ended up leaving with two totally different options.

First is this super dark wash that I just adore! I don’t have many pairs that are this plain (no distressing) or this dark. I can’t even explain to you guys how comfy these are! Super soft and perfectly fitted. I like that these could easily be dressed up for a night out too since they are so dark. Since I was shopping for basics, I paired them with this simple (but sooo essential) chambray button down by Rails. If you have never bought a Rails top, please do yourself a favor and get one! The BEST throw ons that are just super wearable. I always love a chambray option for the warmer temp months and this one is perfection. Keeping up the simplicity, I threw on tortoise shell sunnies and these fab See by Chloe wedges (guys, get these for Summer stat!)

The second pair I grabbed are these more laid back (and more typical “me”) lighter wash, super distressed ones. Ok, love love! I am all about this cropped fit lately. I just love that you can show off your heels or that you can wear them with sneaks too (I think cropped denim is a must when wearing sneaks for some reason!) I felt like making this look more Springy, so I went with this super fun Free People top. How dreamy is this color?! And the swingy, more cropped fit is so nice and airy. This will be so cute all season long with jean skirts and shorts too. I kept it easy breezy by going with these Stuart Weitzman nude heels and the always fun circle Ray Ban sunglasses.

While I was making these two looks, I saw so many other fun tees and tops I wanted! I love that Bloomingdales contemporary floor has denim mixed in with those options (vs some stores that separate them). I find this is more shoppable and you can create outfits as you go. Definitely my favorite one stop shop. Here are a bunch more pieces (some additional Joe’s Jeans styles too) that I saw and am wanting!

Poppy Red Skirt To Welcome Spring with Intermix

Happy Spring, friends! I am so glad it’s finally here and I hope it means warmer days are near!

To celebrate, I threw on this adorable poppy red skirt by Tibi and this essential white blouse from my go-to store, Intermix, today. I wanted to share this fun look with you guys as I think it’s a very easy, but cute outfit that you could wear all Spring long.

Springtime Ready Red Poppy Skirt and Essential White Top From Intermix

First let’s discuss this skirt as I am in love and it’s the color of the season! I have been seeing bright reds everywhere, which I love as it is just so happy tone (plus it always looks so good with a nice Springy tan).  Other than the color, I was drawn to this piece also because of the built in belt. I love that it ties so fabulously in the front! I mean, how cute?! It’s removable too if you would rather just go no belt or add your own.

Since the skirt is full of life, I chose this simple (but totally classic + necessary) white blouse. I love the cut, the button detailing and also the girly little ruffle sleeve. Tops like this are pieces you must have in your closet! This will be so good with a high waisted pair of jeans or just some simple cutoffs too.

To let the skirt be the focus of the look, I went with these neutral tone double strap mules. Ok, real life…these heels are so so dreamy and I can’t wait to wear them all Spring and Summer! They are comfy and have this cool wooden heel that makes them so different. I did kick it up a notch by wearing my heart shaped Saint Laurent heart sunnies as they are always just the best splash of fun.

What I love most about these pieces is that I will be able to wear them each separately and also that I know they are exclusives to Intermix (meaning you won’t see them in every store and on everyone you know!) You could totally dress this skirt down with a cool band tee or simple tank top and flip flops. And these heels would be the perfect way to dress up your denim for a night out.

I am so so so glad Spring is here and can’t wait to shop all the new things that are coming out. Here are bunch of other items I have on my list from Intermix.

Have a fab day my friends!
