Hi guys! Happy Thursday! What a quick week, right? I loved having a holiday mid-week yesterday as it was so fun to go out and have a little wine last night! I hope you all had a great Valentine’s day!

Today is all about my obsession with Topshop! If you have followed me for a while you know I am all about mixing high and low priced pieces. I actually never really look at brands when I am shopping, I just pick up things/click on things that I like and go from there. With that, I do have my go-to spots that I like to shop and Nordstrom is one of them. I love that I can find everything (literally everything!) I need in one store. My local Nordstrom, South Coast Plaza, is the mecca! They just redid it and it’s honestly amazing. It’s just nice to be able to go in a store and get every aspect of your look in one stop (instead of having to run around the whole mall).

One of the best parts of Nordstrom is that they have a whole department of Topshop! I know I can always find on trend pieces that will not break the bank. I am a big fan of their well priced denim, cute of the moment tops and fab dresses + skirts. I found this particular Topshop flirty skirt and fell in love with the wrap style and cute print. The best part is that it is $55, but looks and feels more expensive. For this look I paired it with this great Free People black knit as we are still transitioning into Spring. I adore this sweater! I have it in the white version too because it’s pretty lightweight and goes perfectly with so much (I have styled it with both skirts and denim). To keep this look fun, I added on these black heels, these simple silver hoops, these must have YSL sunnies and this Valentino crossbody bag.

This skirt will be so fun to throw on all Spring and Summer! You could throw on a simple black tank and flip flops for a super casual look or you could sass it up with a lace adorned cami and some stiletto heels. Here are a bunch of other Topshop pieces I am currently eyeing for Spring:

I hope you all have a fab day today! I am working on some looks to shoot tomorrow and then will be so ready for the weekend.

Happy shopping! xo, Caro

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday! How is it already mid-February? Time is flying, per usual, and all I can think about lately is SPRING. I am not a Winter fashion girl (hence the lack of blog posts the past couple of months!!), but I am 100% a Spring and Summer girl. I love easy dresses, fun sandals and of course all the colors.

I had the opportunity to partner up with Neiman Marcus Fashion Island and one of my most favorite friends (she is also an OC blogger), Christine, to shoot some super fab looks that encompass all things Spring trends. Right now Neiman’s is running their Must Haves promotion where you can get a gift card up to $1,500 (spend more, get more with the code BESTFEB). I am going to do a couple of posts covering their take on the season’s best trends, but today is all about these two looks.

Three of the nine trends they are forecasting for Spring we are wearing: Brights, Stripes and The Pointed Toe.

For brights, we both have that covered with our fun red accessories. My Mansur Gavriel fabulous round bag is the perfect pop of fun for any look. I am obsessed with this retro shape and cute top handle! And Christine’s red Alice and Olivia sunnies are just way too cute, right? I am loving that colored sunglasses are so on trend right now!

For Stripes, Christine’s cool track pants take that on with the fab red paneling detail. I am usually just a simple jeans girl when it comes to bottoms, but I have to admit, I love love these! So unexpected and just so fun. Plus, you could totally make these work friendly with a simple button down.

For The Pointed Toe, my cool distressed denim Tom Ford heels are exactly that. These pumps are killer! I am always a fan of a more pointy toe, as I just think it’s carries an element of chic, and this season it’s all about the super pointy toe. I will link some other fun options below.

Springtime and warmer temps will be here so soon and I could not be more excited. All the colors, the florals, the flowy materials, the whimsical dresses….I just love it all! When I am on the hunt to find the best options and inventory, I always always stop in Neiman Marcus Fashion Island. Their selection is always so different than what you find at most mainstream department stores and their are always so kind and helpful! I actually have made friends with one of the girls in the shoe department and I can just text her what I am looking for and she sends it directly to my house if I do not have time to go by. That kind of customer service is what makes their location the best. Plus Mariposa, their in store restaurant on the third floor, is one of my lunch time go-to’s. Colby and I both die over their popovers (that they served with warm strawberry butter…if you haven’t tried it you are SO missing out). I will be sharing more from Neiman’s in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned!

Here are all the elements of our looks as well as some other similar pieces from Neiman Marcus that I am loving:

Hi guys! Happy Thursday! We are almost to Friday and I couldn’t be more excited! This week has lagged for me as I hurt my knee working out and have had to lay low. If you know me, you know I am super active and do not like to sit still, ever! I have ADD and love to be on the go, so this injury has really stolen my sparkle (ha! no, but for real).

Today on Instagram I posted this dress (also here) that I am OBSESSED with and that would be a fab option for Valentine’s Day as it’s perfectly red and pink. The ruffle detailing and sheer panel in the middle are SO fun. If you live somewhere cooler, you could pair this with a light grey or tan boot too! I know Valentine’s day gets a bad/annoying rep, but I personally love it. Not for the lovey dovey stuff it brings with couples (although let’s be real, I do love that too!), but more because I think it is just a reminder to spread love to those around you. I am all about any reason to tell my friends and fam how much they mean to me and that’s what I take from the holiday. I think it’s so fun to get your bestie or sister a cute little something to remind them how fab they are.

Here are some more outfit ideas and some fun gift ideas too:

I hope you all have a fab day! I will be trying to heal this knee and get some looks ready for a shoot tomorrow (let’s hope I can walk like a normal human!)

Happy shopping! xo, Caro

Hi guys! Happy Monday! It’s been so much cooler here in SoCal, so I went searching for a couple of cozy sweaters this weekend and I found so many fun pieces on sale! To start, my all time favorite Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots are currently 40% which is such a great steal! I have had my black ones for 4 years and they are still just as fab! I just got this fun shade of brown this year and it’s super fun and very wearable. Check out my instagram post from today (under “shop my looks”) to see how I styled them!

The best part about the pieces below is that you can wear them now! My all time favorite leather skirt (just posted it last week on Instagram again, but also wore it to fashion week in NYC) is marked down to $46!! Total steal, get it!

Hope you all have a good Monday! I am going to be cozied up in a big sweater for sure!

Hiiiii guys!! Happy 2018! Talk about long time, no blog! I went into full vacay mode for the holidays and have had such a hard time getting myself to sit down and do a post. I love the start of the new year and all that brings, but I have to be real in that it can get a tad overwhelming with all the resolutions, crazy workout + diet talk everywhere and just the whole “new year, new me” stuff. Just because we are now writing 2018 instead of 2017, that shouldn’t have to mean you need to make all these drastic changes to yourself and your life. I am all for bettering oneself, I just think that when we try to make crazy adjustments to our norm we end up failing. Maybe by “we” I mean me (hence why I don’t do resolutions!) I just think it’s better to focus on all things in moderation and just live your life the best you can.

Over the holidays I had time to reflect, on the amazingness of 2017.  I couldn’t have ever dreamed I would grow my instagram to over 50k or that I would get to experience so many cool things (hello, fashion week!) in basically the first year of blogging. The amount of gratitude I have for all the support and love I received from friends, family, followers, brands and fellow bloggers is more than I could ever imagine (one of my favorite parts about this journey is all the people I have met along the way!) Plus, my hubby and I went on some amazing trips and the cake topper, we renewed our vows on our actual 10 year wedding anniversary (in Vegas with 18 friends!) I meaaaaan, I couldn’t be more thankful.

With that, my hope for 2018 is just to continue to share my love for fashion, to continue to inspire daily with my Instagram outfit posts, to continue to connect with my followers and to continue to build my brand. I would love the opportunity to work with more brands that I truly love. Last year I said no to some brands, not because I am above them or too cool, but because I will forever stay true to myself and that means only sharing looks that I actually wear in real life. I just think it’s so important to remain you and not get to the point where you are just putting things out there to make money. I would feel like I was lying (which I honestly feel shows in pictures. Or atleast I know that when I truly love a look it is obvious).

So 2018, let’s do this! No big changes for me, but instead just trying to do more and do it bigger. As always, if there are any things you guys would like to see (specific outfit posts etc), please message me!

I hope you have all had a great start to January! And also, I added a new tab “What I Am Loving” on my Menu bar where I am sharing my current wants + favorites, so be sure to check it out as I will keep it updated weekly.

Here are some of the things I am currently eyeing:
